Adana Health Tourism Workshop and TÜSKA Health Services Accreditation Promotion Meeting was held on 11-12 October 2018 in Adana City Training and Research Hospital under the coordination of our Directorate.
147 participants from Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Mersin, Elazığ, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Eskişehir, Osmaniye, Mardin, Yozgat, İzmir, Kayseri and Batman participated in the workshop.
Our region was evaluated in terms of health tourism and solution suggestions for the development of health tourism were determined.
Media promotion and marketing, transportation - accommodation intermediary agencies, service delivery and quality, qualified human resources, third age and disabled tourism, national and international accreditation, cosmetic and aesthetic health tourism, wellness and thermal health tourism, financial opportunities, State and private sector responsibilities and insurance issues are the topics discussed in the workshop. The participants were divided into groups and performed swot analysis on these subjects.
